Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion! While testing I have been constraining the font to just ttf files, but the plugin also works with otf. I'm going to remove the constraints and upload a new beta with otf support later today or tomorrow.
Nonetheless, if you need to use an otf font without waiting for the new beta, you can use an online converter to change the otf into an ttf file.
For example:
onlinefontconverter.com/
everythingfonts.com/otf-to-ttf
www.freefontconverter.com/

I2 SmartEdge beta 16 is now uploaded.
It supports .otf and .ttf font files. Also, it has a few more example presets!
