Localizing using separate Language Sources

Howdy!

I recently got the I2 Localization plugin and it looks very nifty so far. However, I am struggling to achieve the following:

I have two scenes. Each one has TMPro text elements that are localized. The user can move between the scenes, and a UI panel that persists between the scenes has a button to swap the languages.

Now, in my specific case I need these two scenes to use separate Language Sources. I want to get a button press on my UI button to swap the currently used languages in ALL localizations, and I need to somehow achieve this without a direct reference to the Language Source files.

Is something like this possible? If so, please advise.
