This section defines the style in the INSIDE of the Text and Image.
Edge |
This expands or contract the shape's border, making it wider or thinner |
Softness |
By default the plugin tries to apply Anti-aliasing to the shape's silhouette, by tweaking this parameter, the anti-aliasing could become smoother or crisper. This smoothness is based on screen pixels, so setting this to 0.5px will make half a pixel of anti-aliasing no mater how big the is. |
Extra Softness |
Similar to the Softness, but this value is based on the character size. Therefore, as the text is scaled, the softness looks wider. This allows creating fading texts and ghostly effects. |
SuperSampling |
Enabling this option makes rendering of small letters more defined and legible. It does this by sampling the texture 4 more times around the pixels and averaging the result. This adds a performance impact, but because of the all the sampling happening close to the original texel, then the texture caches make this a very fast operation. Also this effect is automatically disabled when the text is big in screen. |
Color |
The fill color for the shape. |
The character can have more detail by enabling one of the following options:
Use Widget Texture |
When the font texture has the SDF format in the alpha channel, the R, G and B channels can be use to tint the. This has the same effect of setting the "Texture" parameter but without having to use extra texture. |
Texture |
Extra detail can be applied by specifying a face texture. This texture gets tinted by the face color and can be scaled, translated and rotated by the using the UV Mapping controls. |
Gradient |
The shape's can also be tinted by using a gradient. See the Gradient controls for details about how to manipulate and optimize gradients. |
