Localising UIFonts and Fonts

Hi,
I was wondering can we hack our way to localise a Secondary Term i.e. UIFONT as UIFONT for ENGLISH and FONT(UNITY) for Chinese-zh.

Let me explain my situation. I am making text extensive game. We have localised our game in Chinese to realise we have around 1000+ Chinese characters. For our first release we want to localise Chinese with Unity Dynamic fonts but want to keep using Bitmap Fonts for English and European languages.

Can we achieve this?

Thanks for your help.

Replied by Frank on topic Localising UIFonts and Fonts
I2 Localization allows setting a Primary and a Secondary Term in the Localize component.
In case of Texts and Labels, the Primary Term is used to localize the label's text, while the Secondary Term is used to change the Font/UIFont for each language.

Here is a tutorial showing how to do so:
inter-illusion.com/tools/i2-localization...ge-font-per-language

Using that, you just need to create a Term for the font (e.g. "ARIAL") and then for each language select your bitmap font, and then for Chinese, select the dynamic one.

Hope that helps,
Frank
