When the game is running, if the Auto Update Frequency is set to anything other than NEVER, the language source checks the google spreadsheet to see if there is any change.
If there is a change, it downloads the spreadsheet and update itself. The downloaded data is saved in PlayerPrefs so it doesn't have to be downloaded again.
However, to avoid requesting the localization data too often, the synchronization can be set to happen only once a day, once a week, etc. That's what the Auto Update Frequency does.
