Bevel is a quick and easy way to add a 3D look to your shapes.
It deforms the borders with a wave that can be adjusted to make the shape look like rising or sinking.
To easy adjusting the values, there is a preview showing the elevation of the shape. The preview updates the bevel height as the values are tweaked.
Offset |
By default bevels start at the edge of the shape, but it can be moved to the inside or outside by adjusting this value. |
Width |
This define how wide is going to be the bevel starting on the edge plus the offset. |
Soften |
0 will produce a Chisel Hard effect while 1 will create an soft surface. |
Depth |
A factor that makes the bevel more pronounced. Negative values can be used to invert the height. |
Wave Offset |
The wave that simulates the height, is a sinus wave. This value defines at what angle the wave will start. |
Wave Width |
This is how long the wave will be sampled when mapped to the bevel width. |
Clamp |
Maximum height of the bevel. If the wave goes higher it gets clamped. |
