Terms tab in I2Languages: refreshing time

Hi,

Recently we migrated our project to I2 and everything was great, but we faced with next problem: after importing spreadsheet, changing term, etc Terms tab refreshes and it simply takes too long - at least 30 seconds or even more.

Yep, I understand that we have a lot of terms in our MMO game (approximately 2400 terms for now), but maybe we doing something wrong and there is a simple way to fix this problem?

That doesn't sound right.
Last time I checked for performance, my test project was around 50K terms and there were not slowdowns when parsing (importing does take a bit of time because it has to download the data, but should be that long).

I will check this today to see if there were any regressions and upload a fix ASAP.

Thanks for reporting this,
Frank

I was able to reproduce the slow down, and I'm changing the code around it to avoid it. I should have a new beta with the changes by the weekend.

Hope that helps,
Frank

Hi,
I managed to do a code refactor and that improved the speed A LOTTTT!!
In my tests I was using 40500 terms and parsing them takes less than a second, so I bet your 2400 terms will be nothing :-)

The inspector will be far far faster when parsing terms, selecting a language source and a few other cases.
I uploaded the changes to the beta folder (v2.6.10b4).

Hope that helps!
