Google sheets / Categories / Share Keys

Hello,

I have two questions.

(1) For our purposes, it is very convenient to use multiple spreadsheets inside a Google Sheet to organize strings.
Unfortunately, by default, I2 uses each sheet as a Category, and this makes it hard to use GetTranslation.
Is there a way for me to use multiple sheets inside of google--basically just for organization--without generating categories? Alternatively, can I ignore categories completely when translating?

(2) In a similar vein, it would be very convenient for us to store english translations in one sheet and other language translations in another sheet (inside the same Google Spreadsheet).
Is this possible? I tried adding the same key to multiple sheets, but this does not work.
